With such a large coverage area per rubber floor tile color piece, you’ll have fewer seams and you’ll be able to cover a larger area more quickly than with smaller sizes of tiles.

The simple installation process makes this one of the best DIY rubber gym flooring options around. To connect the pieces of this interlocking rubber floor, just line up the tabs on one 3/8 rubber tile with the slots on an adjacent tile. Then press the edges together with your foot, your hand, or a rubber mallet to create a tight connection between the rubber floor tile color pieces.

Understand that you will lose a little bit of coverage area with these 3×3 rubber floor tiles versus what you might expect. Even though the dimensions of these tile pieces are 3 by 3 feet, you will have a coverage area of 8.25 square feet per tile, as the interlocking edges slightly reduce the overall coverage area.

When performing a wall to wall installation, you can either cut these tiles to fit flat against a wall, removing the interlocking edge. Or we also offer border and corner pieces that will interlock into the edges of the existing 3×3 rubber floor tiles to create a flat edge.

Our rubber floor tile color pieces will lie flat and will not curl. Additionally, these tiles are waterjet cut, which makes them fit together more tightly than tiles that are stamped or die cut.
